Cuban-born pianist, composer, and educator Camila Cortina Bello bridges Afro-Cuban traditions with jazz, classical,
and world music. A graduate of Cuba’s Instituto Superior de Arte and a full-tuition Berklee College of Music alum, she is
recognized for her powerful artistry and her ability to merge rhythmic intensity with lyrical sensitivity. Now based in New
Jersey, Camila is an active voice in New York’s vibrant jazz scene. Her music reflects a deep understanding of
Afro-diasporic rhythms, contemporary harmony, and poetic narrative, positioning her among the most innovative
pianists of her generation.
